Is it okay to use makeup from Divisoria?

Dear Diary,

Buying and using makeup from Divisoria is really scary! They're sold for really low prices which makes you think what ingredients and chemicals did they used to produce them. How can you possibly apply such sketchy stuff on your face?

Imagine, I was able to take home an eyeshadow palette, eyeliner, fake lashes, lash curler, mascara, makeup sponge, and lipstick for less than Php 400! Despite being such a daredevil (wow), I avoided buying those that would have direct contact with my skin like primer, foundation, and concealer.

Well, because of my work, I was able to go to Divisoria. I passed by plenty of makeup stores and I got really curious. It's crazy, I know... but I've already tried using really cheap makeup that I bought from Lazada and I wanted to really see the difference.

Unlike the 120-peso eyeshadow palette from Lazada, I was surprised to know that all the products I bought from Divisoria didn't smell as harsh. I didn't have a hard time blending the colors from the eyeshadow palette and they were also easily washed from the brushes I used; I had difficulties in washing my brushes after using the previous cheap palette.

Meanwhile, the liquid eyeliner didn't smudge once it dried and didn't ruin my entire eye makeup when I made a mistake. It also didn't cause irritations in my eyes which makes me think that I can actually use it and not throw it in the trash, even afterward; although, this might just be my case. If you decide to try makeup from Divisoria, wash it off immediately if you feel anything unusual! On the other hand, the bristles of the mascara felt too big for my eyes/lashes that I couldn't apply it properly, so I probably won't use it anymore.

Lastly, the lipstick was... well, at first I thought it was double purpose because it was two-sided: a lipstick and a lip gloss. Turns out, both were matte lipsticks, the other's just liquid matte. I honestly feel that the liquid lipstick's quality is similar to Vice Cosmetics so it's fine. I could use it on a daily basis as well.

Makeup is really expensive and as much as I really wanted to buy to explore and create more looks, I don't usually have events to go to that requires it. I feel like it's just going to waste... maybe later when I already have the budget to spend and occasions to attend. :P

Until then,
G.
